After graduating with a BFA in Musical Theatre, Beth Albright began her career in the special events industry 20 years ago as a Certified Wedding Consultant via ACWC (now AACWP). Planning events felt so similar to directing or stage managing a theatrical production, that pursuing a future with special events seemed like the perfect use of her skills and personality.
In 2008, she began as a catering sales manager with Food Glorious Food Off-Premise Catering. Not having a Chef-bone in her body, somehow this “Queen of Microwaving” found passion and success through eleven years of catering off-premise events – eventually becoming FGF’s Director of Sales & Business Development. During this time, she also had the honor of managing several of Dallas’ top event venues, including The Hall of State, FIG, and Dec on Dragon.
In 2019, Beth and her business partner founded Blue Fire Catering – proudly leading that team to an incredibly successful first year of amazing events. When the pandemic hit in 2020, and everyone added, “pivot” to their vocabulary, Beth also spun a pirouette and joined D Magazine as their Events Producer. 97 events, and a lifetime’s worth of begging to all her “friendors,” later – Beth has happily found her way back to the world of catering. Joining the Vestals Catering team at the end of 2022, her role as Senior Director of Business Development allows her to use her double-decade of experience to help this amazing company grow in Dallas, Ft. Worth, Austin, and all of Texas.
Through the years, Beth has been a proud member of several networking groups throughout DFW, including AACWP Director of Education, SWP Director of Communications, and most recently the 2024 Director of Fundraising for DFW NACE.
When not working, you can find Beth hanging with her Mini-Me – her 8-year-old son Kanaan – and rereading the Harry Potter series. Wingardium Leviosa!
