Known as the Queen of Bridal Beauty in Dallas/Fort Worth, Jen Trotter is the owner and principal artist behind Lip Service Makeup, the team that snagged a coveted AACWP Vendi Award for Favorite Hair and Makeup for the 5th year in a row, landing them in the Hall of Fame. In addition to beautifying thousands (yes, thousands!) of brides over the course of her 25+ year career, Jen’s work has been featured in local and national magazines, on commercials and ads for brands such as Tostitos, Girl Scouts of America, and Omni Hotels and on shows on Oxygen and the Paramount Network, and on Dateline NBC. The LSM team also recently beautified contestants for the finale wedding episodes of “Love is Blind” on Netflix! When it comes to weddings and beauty, she’s seen it all and done it all!
As a veteran vendor, Jen is heavily involved in her local chapters of the Professional Wedding Guild, The Society of Wedding Professionals, ILEA, and NACE, and she’s currently serving as a board member of The Dallas/Fort Worth chapter of WIPA for the third year. In addition to her role as a veteran vendor, mentor and local leader in the wedding industry, Jen is a communications expert with a background that includes conflict resolution training, PR, and 10 years as a Program Director for the Make A Wish Foundation. Melding her business knowledge with her vast experience as an “in the trenches” wedding vendor gives Jen a unique perspective! She not only knows how to deal with the occasional bridezilla, but she is also passionate about teaching other business owners how to manage communication elements to reduce conflict and stress…at work AND at home.
